On August 11, 2021, Silver Lake Heritage Trust filed a Writ of Mandate in Superior Court against the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles City Council, as well as the developer Holland Partner Group, for their multiple Brown Act violations during the City Council hearing on landmark consideration for Taix French Restaurant.
